Peshawar: The main commander of the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) was killed along with his colleagues in Afghanistan.
According to sources, Abdul Wali alias Umar Khalid Khorasani was killed in Paktika province of Afghanistan, and three associates of outlawed TTP commander Umar Khalid Khorasani were also killed.
Sources say that Mufti Hasan and Hafiz Daulat are also among the dead colleagues.
It should be noted that Umar Khalid Khorasani was considered among the important commanders of TTP and was known as a reliable military commander in the organizational circles.
Umar Khalid Khorasani was also closely related to Al-Qaeda and its leader Ayman al-Zawahiri, who was killed in an American drone strike a few days ago.
Umar Khalid Khorasani had also participated in the peace talks with Pakistan in Kabul in recent days.
On the other hand, the United States had announced a reward of three million dollars for information about Omar Khalid Khorasani, whether he was caught dead or alive.
