BEIJING: TikTok, a popular short-form video platform, has announced major changes to its For You Feed feature, which allows users to update their feeds.
According to TikTok, after the action, users will also have the option to remove unwanted videos from their feed. This new feature is part of TikTok’s ongoing efforts to ensure a fun experience while allowing users to express themselves.
The “Fario” feed is a feature that helps TikTok users discover a wide variety of content, creators, communities and products. Users have long demanded that they accept videos or content in their feeds that do not match their likes or preferences.
To remedy this situation, TikTok has introduced a new way for users to update their “For You” feed suggestions, allowing them to view content as if they had just discovered it on TikTok. Sign up.
Once the user selects an option, similar videos will appear in his selected timeline.
Activating the update feature does not override settings users have chosen to activate or affect accounts they are already following.
A spokesperson for the company said that TikTok continuously strives to provide entertainment to users and takes various measures to protect users on its platform. This feature allows users to remove and filter inappropriate content that violates the rules.
According to the company, TikTok will continue this effort as it seeks to recommend diverse content to provide rich opportunities to new and talented users.
