Islamabad: The resolution against the judiciary was unanimously approved in the National Assembly, in which the Supreme Court has been demanded not to interfere in the matter of elections.
Information and Broadcasting Minister Maryam Aurangzeb presented the resolution in the session of the National Assembly chaired by Raja Pervez Ashraf.
The resolution said that the House rejects the interference of the judiciary in the legislature, calls for the holding of elections to all the assemblies at the same time and upholds the verdict in the election case by a ratio of four to three.
It has been said in the resolution that this House demands that the judiciary should not interfere in the Election Commission, and the full court should hear the cases related to the election.
It is written in the resolution that ‘this House considers the unnecessary interference of the judiciary in political matters as a cause of political instability, the higher judiciary should avoid interfering in political and administrative matters, the Election Commission should be allowed to conduct elections under favorable conditions according to its discretion. should be allowed to be held because political stability is necessary for economic stability in the country.
The resolution moved by the Information Minister was unanimously approved by the House.
