According to media reports, Sui Gas officials say that various tariff slabs have been increased from 8 to 112 percent in a phased manner, the implementation of arrears on gas rates has also started from this month.
Sui Gas officials further said that arrears bills are being sent to the domestic, commercial and industrial consumers whose bill was Rs 871 and now it has increased to Rs 2900 with arrears.
According to Sui Gas officials, gas heater and geyser users will pay several times more during November-February while the arrears of 4 installments will also be collected on the new bills, besides category protected domestic consumers in the new gas tariff. are also included. has been introduced.
Meanwhile, surrounded by gas thieves and defaulters, the Ministry of Petroleum has prepared Bill 2023 for the prevention and recovery of gas theft. Special courts will be established under the bill. The jurisdiction of the courts will be determined in consultation with the Chief. Justice High Court.
