The Seismological Center reported that the magnitude of the earthquake was 6.3 on the Richter scale, the depth of the earthquake was 150 km and the epicenter was in the border region of Afghanistan and Tajikistan. It is known that earthquake shocks were also felt in Murree, Haripur, Taxila, Abbottabad and Jhelum and earthquake shocks were also felt in remote areas of Pakistan such as Gilgit, Skardu, Chilas, Quetta.
