Kabul: 2 shopping malls dedicated to women were opened in Herat, Afghanistan.
According to the American Broadcasting Corporation, in 2 shopping malls opened for women in Herat, shopkeepers and buyers are women. Entry of men without family is prohibited in these shopping malls.
According to the report, 6 months rent of women shopkeepers has also been waived. Women and girls of all ages are doing their thing in women-only shopping malls. Previously, the Taliban has been criticized by the international community for imposing various restrictions on women, including girls’ education.
