Mexico City: In the North American country of Mexico, a gunman entered a hotel and opened fire on people bathing in the swimming pool, as a result of which 7 people, including a child, were killed.
According to the World News Agency, one man targeted the victims, but it is believed that 3 to 4 armed men entered the hotel with him and took the security personnel hostage.
When the police reached the scene, a pool of blood was visible in the swimming pool in which 7 bodies were floating while one person was seriously injured. The injured person was taken to hospital in critical condition.
According to the police, the assailants also took CCTV cameras with them when they left after the gruesome act of murder. A lot of vandalism was done in the hotel. They also harassed people and staff by firing bullets.
The condition of the shooting victim is said to be critical while tight security arrangements were made for the victim as he was the only eyewitness to the incident.
