According to the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah’s tweet, Odi said that the minimum age for Umrah permit for foreigners is 5 years, but children below 5 years of age can enter Masjid al-Haram without parental permission.
He said he made sure he was free of the virus before being allowed to perform Umrah, otherwise he would meet someone who was infected before coming to Mecca. It should be noted that the validity of this visa is 90 days, during which the visa holder has the right to stay in the country, however, the validity of the Umrah visa is 90 days and it cannot be extended.
