    Rawalpindi; Cylinder blast in Benazir Airport barracks, one person killed

    One person was killed in a cylinder blast in Rawalpindi Old Airport Barracks.

    According to the sources, a fire broke out in the barracks located in Rawalpindi Old Benazir Airport after a cylinder explosion, as a result of which one person was killed and two were injured. The explosion also damaged the building. Local rescue agencies were sent back from the accident site.

    On the other hand, there were fire incidents in other areas of Rawalpindi due to gas leakage. Rescue teams were immediately dispatched to the affected areas and the needle gas department was also informed.

    Incidents of gas leakage were reported in Khayaban Sir Syed, Gharibabad and Tench Bhata areas in Rawalpindi. A woman affected by the fire in Gharibabad was shifted to the hospital.
