Kiev: Ukraine has alleged that the Russian army destroyed a museum in a missile attack in which 2 people were killed and 9 injured.
According to the international news agency, the regional governor of the city of Kopyansk in Ukraine says that more than ten people were buried under the rubble in the attack in the museum. One body and 10 injured were pulled out of the wreckage, one of whom died in the hospital.
An employee of the museum is also among those killed in the debris. Rescue work is going on to pull out other people trapped in the debris. The fear of increasing the number of casualties is being expressed.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky also uploaded a video of the badly damaged museum. In which the roof and walls of a part of the museum have collapsed and debris is visible.
On the other hand, Russia rejected the missile attack on the museum and said that innocent civilians and historical buildings are not targeted.
