Lahore: Former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi’s close friend Farhat Shahzadi has sent a legal notice to FIA to stop correspondence with Interpol for a red warrant.
According to the details, a legal notice was sent to DGFIA to stop correspondence with Interpol for the red warrant of Farhat Shahzadi.
Lawyer Farah Gogi Azhar Siddique Advocate has said that this case is beyond the authority of FIA, the basis on which the FIR was filed by Anti-Corruption has been dismissed.
Lawyer Farhat Shahzai said that the case did not go to court and non-bailable warrants were taken, while there can be no warrants.
Azhar Siddique Advocate further said that the FIA was also defamed by leaking the internal notice to the media, the powers of the FIA were also challenged in the High Court.
He said that NAB and Income Tax have also started similar actions which are based on bad faith, the action of red warrant brings disrepute to Pakistan and the real accused also get away.
