A tragic incident occurred in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, where a pilgrim bus fell off a bridge, resulting in the loss of 15 lives. The unfortunate mishap took place when the bus, which was traveling from Khargaon to Indore, plunged from the bridge, leaving 25 individuals wounded.
The incident reportedly occurred when the bus, carrying more than 50 passengers, was traversing a river bridge near Dongargaon, located approximately 34 km away from the district headquarters. The bus fell into the river after the railing on the bridge gave way.
Following the accident, the injured were quickly transported to a nearby hospital for medical assistance. The Khargaon Sub-Divisional Officer (Police), Rakesh Mohan Shukla, provided further details on the incident, stating that the bus was en route to Indore when it met with the unfortunate fate.
The incident has resulted in an outpouring of grief and condolences from the public, and authorities are investigating the incident to determine the cause of the accident.
