Lahore: The High Court ordered the government lawyers to inform the court today on the request to provide foolproof security to Imran Khan.
Justice Abid Aziz Sheikh heard the petition of Imran Khan.
When the hearing started, lawyer Imran Khan said that former Prime Minister Imran Khan has no security till today. Azhar Siddique Advocate said that four more petitions were filed regarding the security of Imran Khan which was heard by Justice Tariq Saleem Sheikh.
Justice Abid Aziz Shaikh remarked that your TORs had been made, to which Azhar Siddique, advocate said, “I stayed in Zaman Park all day, there is not a single policeman there.”
Justice Abid remarked that I have a case regarding the security of former Prime Minister Imran on which the government is saying that there is security and you are saying that there is no security. What is the security with them outside the house and when they “move”, the government should tell and give an undertaking.
Azhar Siddique Advocate said that yesterday the policemen broke the doors of Imran Khan’s house.
The court adjourned the hearing of the case till 12 noon, directing the government lawyers to inform the court today.
