ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has challenged the warrant cancellation decision in the Islamabad High Court.
In the petition filed on behalf of Imran Khan by his lawyer Khawaja Haris, a position was taken that the police should be prevented from arrest by admitting the undertaking and the petition should be heard today.
The registrar office raised objections on Imran Khan’s warrant cancellation request. According to the registrar office, Imran Khan does not have a biometric. How can the High Court hear the matter once again? How can a blackout order be issued on a petition?
The session court had rejected Imran Khan’s warrant cancellation request yesterday.
