Islamabad: Former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi says that if gifts are received wrongly from Tosha Khana, it must be done.
Speaking to the media outside the accountability court, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that my name also appeared in the Tosha Khana, if any gift comes from abroad, it will be deposited in the Tosha Khana.
He said that the Tosha Khana determines the value of the gift and money has to be paid to accept the gift.
Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that for years people have been going around the accountability courts, decisions are not being made, the new chairman should finish the cases of the poor, politicians should run away in jobs.
In response to a question, he said that without trying to form a new party, Pakistan will become self-sufficient in political parties.
It should be noted that Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has reached the judicial complex to appear in the LNG reference. Accountability Court judge Nasir Javed Rana heard the LNG reference, former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi appeared in the court.
The NAB prosecutor said that the arguments in the LNG case are over, the NAB rules under which the court has been given jurisdiction are also being amended. Under the new amendment, the accountability court can refer the pending matter to any tribunal.
Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that he could not appear in the previous hearing, on which Judge Nasir Javed Rana said that he does not need to appear again, the council will present.
Due to the new amendment, final arguments in the jurisdiction and acquittal petition could not be made, where the hearing was adjourned until April.
