By the age of 15, he had achieved national recognition for his powerful poetry. Awsha’s success in the men’s category has also opened doors for the next generation of Arab women in the industry. Usha is considered one of the pioneers of Nabataean poetry, many of whose poems feature themes of the Persian Gulf and the desert. These poems are about love, wisdom, patriotism and nostalgia.
