Karachi: Prominent political figure and member of Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party, Imran Ismail, has been apprehended by law enforcement authorities, as confirmed by official sources. The operation involved the execution of a search warrant at the residence of the former Sindh governor, resulting in the detainment of Imran Ismail in the Defense area.
Imran Ismail’s brother has disclosed that his whereabouts have been transferred to an undisclosed location, thus indicating a lack of information regarding his current situation.
It is essential to highlight that in light of the protest staged against the arrest of Imran Khan on May 9, numerous PTI leaders and a considerable number of party members have been apprehended on charges pertaining to acts of vandalism and arson. These individuals have faced accusations of engaging in acts of terrorism, leading to the registration of cases against them.
