Karachi: After the NAB Amendment Ordinance, a major decision of NAB came out. Which cases will remain with NAB and which will be transferred to other institutions? NAB formed a review committee.

A hearing was held before a two-member bench headed by Justice Nimatullah Phalphoto on the request of the accused to transfer the reference of corruption and abuse of power.
NAB Deputy Director Qamar Abbasi informed the Sindh High Court that NAB has formed a review committee.
NAB Deputy Director Qamar Abbasi said that the review committee is going to NAB bureaus across the country and reviewing the cases. Most of the cases have also been sent back to NAB by the accountability courts. Cases sent back to NAB from accountability courts are also being reviewed. References and inquiries will be forwarded to the relevant institutions after review by the review committee.
The review committee is reviewing thousands of cases across the country, time should be given to submit the response. The court sought a report from NAB in 4 weeks.
