Kiruna: (Shadesofgalaxy) European Commission President Ursula Van Dyer says that the European Union needs to increase pressure on Russia and support Ukraine.
In a joint press conference with Sweden’s Prime Minister Christensen in Kiruna, the President of the European Commission said that since the beginning of the Ukraine conflict, Russian gas deliveries have decreased due to pressure from the European Commission.
In response to a question about the supply of weapons to Ukraine, he said that the Ukrainian army should get the necessary weapons for its survival.
He said that it has been ten months since the war started in Ukraine and the Ukrainian army is fighting with enthusiasm like the first day and we also fully support them like the first day.
He added that he said new sanctions would be imposed on Belarus aimed at increasing pressure on Moscow to end the war.
