ANKARA: Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan’s live interview broadcast on a television channel had to be stopped due to serious health deterioration, after which his election campaign was also temporarily suspended.
According to the international news organization, during a live interview on television, the health of the Turkish president suddenly worsened, but after a 15-minute break, he completed the interview.

Resuming the interview, Turkish President Tayyip Erdoğan apologized to the audience and said that he is feeling a little better now. There is severe pain in the stomach for a few days and the activities are also high.
Tayyab Erdogan further said that even the start of the interview was delayed by 90 minutes due to stomach pain and colleagues advised to cancel the interview but I did not consider it appropriate as millions of people were waiting for me.
During the interview, Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan appeared tired and had tears in his eyes, possibly due to an upset stomach.
After this interview, in his tweet, Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan thanked those who sent good wishes and prayers and said that he is currently suspending his election campaign on the doctor’s instructions.

President Tayyip Erdogan further wrote that today’s engagements have been suspended, today I will not be able to meet my brothers, sisters and friends whom I was supposed to address in the rally, but I will resume the election campaign from Thursday.
