Dubai’s renowned and magnificent fountain show, ‘The Point,’ acclaimed as the world’s largest, is set to be temporarily closed from May 15 until further notice, as per an official announcement. According to reputable news source Al Arabiya, ‘The Point’ management has specified that the general public can still relish the captivating fountain spectacle from Friday to Sunday, encompassing the dates of May 12 to 14.

The decision to suspend operations has been taken in order to facilitate extensive reconstruction and development endeavors for the fountain. However, the precise date for the reopening of this grand attraction has not yet been disclosed, leaving enthusiasts eagerly awaiting its resumption.

Launched in October 2020, ‘The Point’ fountain show stands as an awe-inspiring masterpiece, holding the esteemed distinction of being the Guinness World Record holder for the largest dancing fountain globally. Spanning a colossal area of 14,000 square feet, this striking aquatic marvel dazzles onlookers with its vibrant and captivating exhibition, complemented by more than 3,000 LED lights and a multitude of water jets.

The spectacular presentation entails water waves reaching towering heights of up to 105 meters, elegantly synchronized to a diverse repertoire of melodies encompassing popular Gulf, pop, classical, and international tunes. The harmonious amalgamation of choreographed water movements and melodious melodies leaves spectators enthralled and immersed in a mesmerizing experience.

While ‘The Point’ temporarily halts its wondrous showcase, enthusiasts and visitors can eagerly anticipate its eventual reopening, when it will once again grace Dubai’s skyline with its breathtaking and extraordinary exhibition of water, light, and music
