Popular YouTuber trades his Tesla Roadster for NFT.
Dan Markham, the face of YouTube’s What’s Inside (7 million subscribers), trades his blue Tesla Roadster for an NFT.
The change came on September 15 when the vehicle was replaced by the beautiful NFT Porcupine, a collector design from the VeeFriends project (NFT collector Gary Vaynerchuk). The original logo is by Eli Burton, who worked on the graphic novel The Adventures of Starman.
Burton planned to sell his NFT for more than $100,000 but decided to accept Markham’s offer, thinking it would be a good deal to collect.
In the meantime, Markham plans to keep his newly acquired NFT and hold a special conference just for VeeFriends token holders.
New Cryptocurrency Laws Introduced in Cuba
Resolution 215 issued by the Banco Central de Cuba (Central Bank of Cuba) on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 generally recognizes cryptocurrencies as legal assets. This law prohibits the use and investment of cryptocurrencies in Cuba.
The goal of legalizing crypto was first announced in August 2021. The final proposal outlines the basic principles for exchanges, transactions and other uses of cryptocurrencies. This development coincides with the growing popularity of cryptocurrencies among Cubans, who see them as a convenient and independent means of international financial transfers. Cuba is opening up to international trade when it comes to cryptocurrencies and easy currency exchange is possible.
Biggest movie site to start accepting crypto
In line with the widespread adoption of global cryptocurrency, the world’s largest cinema chain – AMC Theaters – will start accepting Ethereum, Bitcoin, Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash by the end of 2021.
This was announced by President Adam Aaron via Twitter. He confirmed that AMC Cinemas will accept cryptocurrency for online ticket sales and lower fees.
