Rawalpindi: DG ISPR confirmed the martyrdom of 6 officers and personnel including Corps Commander Quetta and said that the helicopter was found in the wreckage of Musa Guthwinder Lasbela.

According to the details, Director General of Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Babar Iftikhar confirmed the martyrdom of 6 officers and personnel including Corps Commander Quetta on the social media website Twitter.
DG ISPR said that the wreckage of the ill-fated helicopter was found in Musa Guthwinder Lasbela, officers including Lieutenant General Sarfaraz Ali were martyred in the helicopter accident.

Major General Babar Iftikhar said that according to preliminary investigation, the helicopter accident happened due to bad weather.
DG ISPR said that the martyrs include Major General Amjad Hanif, Brigadier Muhammad Khalid, Major Saeed Ahmed, Major Muhammad Talha Manan, and Naik Mudassar Fayaz.
Bereaved of DG Coast Guard Major General Amjad Hanif Shaheed from Rawalkot include his wife, daughter, and two sons.
Bereaved of Commander Engineer 12 Corps Brigadier Muhammad Khalid from Faisalabad includes his wife, three daughters, and three sons while the bereaved of Pilot Major Saeed Ahmed Shaheed from Larkana include his wife, one son, and one daughter.
The mourners of martyred pilot Major Mohammad Talha Manan include his wife and two sons, while Chief Naik Mudassar Fayyaz Shaheed belongs to Narowal.
It should be noted that the helicopter was on flood relief operations in Lesbela and was monitoring the flood relief activities.
It should be noted that the helicopter of Pakistan Army Aviation went missing last night, the helicopter lost contact with air traffic control while flying in Lasbela.
