SOG Magazine: According to the news agency, the judge investigating the explosion has resumed work on the case after the investigation was frozen for more than a year, after which the then-prime minister, two former ministers, the prosecutor general and three other judges were indicted. An investigation has been conducted involving 15 Farads including top security officials.
According to foreign media reports, in the case of the Beirut explosion, then Prime Minister Hassan Diab and two other ministers have been charged with bloodshed, however, the charges against the Prosecutor General and other 3 judges have not been explained.
According to the report, the investigation into the blast in Beirut has been stalled for more than a year due to political resistance from the authorities and legal challenges against the chief investigating judge.
It should be noted that a strong explosion occurred in August 2020 in the 50-year-old giant warehouses at the port of Beirut, as a result of which more than 220 people were killed and more than 6500 were injured in the entire neighborhood located near Arbanagargah. It was badly damaged.
