ISLAMABAD: An agreement was reached between Pakistan and Uzbekistan to promote poverty reduction, employment opportunities, trade and vocational training.
Federal Minister Sajid Hussain Turi signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Uzbekistan’s Minister of Employment and Poverty Alleviation Bekhzod Musif.
The purpose of this agreement is to promote economic growth and reduce poverty by leveraging each other’s capabilities and expertise between the two countries.
Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis Sajid Hussain Tori appreciated Uzbekistan’s commendable efforts to reduce poverty and its relevance in the context of Pakistan.
Federal Minister Sajid Hussain Tori said that we need to learn from the success of Uzbekistan to tackle the challenges related to poverty in Pakistan.
