Uttar Pradesh: Tragic Incident Unfolds as University Student Fatally Shoots Classmate Before Taking His Own Life
In a distressing turn of events, an unfortunate incident occurred at Shiv Nadar University, located in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. According to reports from Indian media, a third-year Sociology student pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree allegedly shot and killed a fellow student, subsequently turning the weapon on himself, resulting in his own demise.
The perpetrator, identified as a resident of Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, engaged in a fatal altercation with the victim, Anuj, a resident of Amroha. Media sources indicate that following the encounter, the accused individual discharged a firearm, inflicting mortal wounds upon the female student. Promptly transported to a nearby hospital, the victim was declared deceased upon arrival. Subsequently, the assailant fled the scene and sought refuge within the confines of the male students’ hostel, where he ultimately ended his own life by self-inflicted gunshot.
