New Delhi (ShadesofgalaxyOnline) A man tried to set himself on fire near the Indian Parliament building. Sources said Rajkumar Sharma, a resident of Rohini raised slogans against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and in support of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.
He was taken to a nearby hospital, where his condition is said to be stable, a senior police official said, according to an Indian spokesman. He was heard shouting “Desh ko Bacha Lo (Country Bachao)” before being rushed to the hospital. The reason for the attempt to end her life is yet to be ascertained, the official said, adding that an investigation has been launched into the matter.
